Vi glæder os til at se jer!Join the celebration of wonderful characters from various books for children and young people: the young adult Mira, inventors Mis and Mus, Ib the dog and loveable Betty.

We offer fun activities and workshops – and the author of the Ib series live on stage. You can also encounter reading dogs, Teater AstaBasta, Sminkepigerne and Opfinderskole. During the course of the evening, you can replenish your strength with cake, lemonade and coffee.

Fotograf Shazia Khan har et særligt blik for det, øjet normalt overser. Gennem mønstre, farver og lys skaber hun billeder, som inviterer til beskuerens egne fortolkninger og associationer.
Musikken er komponeret af Ole Reimer og vævet sammen med reallyde fra København og fra den store verden. Den fremføres live af Ole Reimer på trompet og Osito Moro fra Mexico på saxofon, tværfløjte og vokal.

Kirken bliver et hjerterum midt i byen – et sted at standse op, finde ro og lade sig føre på en rejse både ud i verden og ind i sig selv.On Culture Night, Mariakirken is transformed into a space filled with moving images projected in large format, live music and sounds from Copenhagen and from all over the world.

Photographer Shazia Khan has a special eye for and focus on photographing what the eye does not normally see: In patterns, colors and light, she manages to create new images. These works of art are also open to the viewer’s own interpretations and associations.
The music is composed by Ole Reimer and inspired by real sounds from the city and the rest of the world. It is performed live by the Ole Reimer Trio.

The church becomes a space in the heart of the city, where you can take a break and let yourself be taken on a journey.

Dorte Østergaard viser sine 7 broderede fortællinger fyldt med fællesskab, minder og eksperimenter, om at give sig tid, til refleksion, til drømmene – til det der tager tid.
