De yngste gæster kan gå på opdagelse i udstillingerne med gratis aktivitetshæfter. Løs opgaver om stranden og vandkanten eller skab din helt egen tegneserie om en planteven.Visit the small and intimate art museum The Hirschsprung Collection situated in the green surrondings of Østre Anlæg Park. Explore the collection of more than 100 years of Danish art from the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s and masterpieces by among others Vilhelm Hammershøi and Bertha Wegmann.

Do not miss the two special exhibitions now on show: ‘A Day at the Beach. Danish Art 1830-1910’ with stunning works by some of the most famous Skagen Painters such as P.S. Krøyer and Michael Ancher; and the newly opened special exhibition ‘Plant Fever. The World on the Windowsill’ about house plants in Danish art and culture.

I samarbejde med koret Lydmur og papirkunstner Veronica Hodges byder vi tre gange i løbet af aftenen på en unik oplevelse, hvor musik, ord og visuel kunst smelter sammen.

Den Gyldne Sky er både en kunstinstallation og fortælling. Gennem ord, lys og lyd inviteres du til at drømme med.

Hver koncert varer ca. 30 minutter og opføres kl. 18.00, 20.00 og 22.00. Koncerterne er gratis men kræver tilmelding på forhånd via link Enjoy an evening for the senses under the brilliant dome of Christiansborg Palace Chapel with music and the installation Golden Cloud.

In collaboration with the Lydmur choir and paper artist Veronica Hodges, we stage three performances with a unique blend of music, words and visual art.

Golden Cloud is both art installation and storytelling. In words, light and sound, attendants are invited to dream along.

Each concert lasts about 30 minutes with performances at 18.00, 20.00 and 22.00. Attendance is free, but you need to register in advance via link.

On Copenhagen Culture Night, Hannah Schneider performs En tråd vævet ind i tiden (A thread woven into time) in the Great Hall at Christiansborg. Based on artist Bjørn Nørgaard’s tapestries, Schneider’s work of sound art weaves past, present and future into a beautiful story featuring poetry by Sapfo, Inger Christensen and Peter Clement-Woetmann. Sharing the stage are singer GOSS, string trio Toechter and vocal ensemble VIGDIS. Lighting design by the artist collective Vertigo.

ALL CONCERTS ARE FULLY BOOKED: The concert lasts 30 minutes and is performed at 18.30, 20.30 and 22.30. Attendance is free with a Culture Pass, but you need to register in advance via ticket link.

In collaboration with the creative collective Bølgebrud, we invite you to a vibrant, sensory performance where everyday water, heat, and energy are transformed into art. Performance, music, and theater tell the story of how the utility keeps the city running – giving you, the audience, the opportunity to follow the flow.

The performance is presented four times throughout the evening, and between each performance, you can join optional guided tours of our facilities to get an insight into the exciting work happening behind the scenes.

On Copenhagen Culture Night, we sharpen our senses and switch off the lights at Rosenborg Castle. A new sound art installation composed by ambient musician and sound artist Sofie Birch fills the darkened corridors and halls as part of an experience in which the castle’s history is sensed more than seen. In contrast to the darkness inside, an atmospheric light installation lights up the castle from outside.

Bring your own electric torch and explore the more than 400-year-old castle and its fascinating history.

Please note that to enter the castle, you need a Culture Pass and you have to book a free time slot by registering online in advance.
