I Bibliotekssalen danner udstillingen ‘Skyggearkivet’ rammen om aftenens kunst og musik. Her kan publikum opleve en performance af Al Masson og Tomas Lagermand Lundme samt koncert med Jonas Frølund og Nightingale String Quartet, der spiller et værk af Bent Sørensen.The Round Tower opens its doors for an evening of hidden stories in art, music, and astronomy.

In the queue, visitors can meet street astronomers for stargazing and stories, and in the spiral ramp, hidden tales from astronomy await – especially about significant women whose contributions are often overlooked. At the top, the familiar view and a chance to gaze at the night sky through the telescope await.

In the Library Hall, the exhibition ‘The Shadow Archive’ provides the backdrop for the evening’s art and music. Audiences can enjoy performance art by Al Masson and Tomas Lagermand Lundme, followed by a concert with clarinetist Jonas Frølund and the Nightingale String Quartet performing by composer Bent Sørensen.

On the tour, you will get inside the National Archives and get a behind the scenes look in our collection.

As a cultural institution, the National Archives plays an important societal role by collecting, preserving and delivering authentic data, which is used in collaboration with public authorities, citizens, researchers and private actors. This creates an important basis for an informed societal debate about our common past, present and future.

The churchbuilding and its history is something really special. The organ is an unique instrument from 1878 built by Daniel Köhne.
