Reba Maybury bruger sin position som politisk dominatrix som udgangspunkt for sit kunstneriske virke, idet hun lader sine værker udføre af den submissive mand på hendes ordre. På udstillingen Private Life viser Maybury en serie af malerier baseret på mal-efter-tal-sæt, som gengiver Edgar Degas’ berømte skildringer af sexarbejdere, der vasker sig, her produceret af hendes submissives. Nightlife and cruising, mythical creatures and archers, fantastic birds and a headless snake: Explore Karim Boumjimars chaotic wonderland where queer identity and mythological desire reign. In Boumjimars solo exhibition Pandemonium Paradiso a new series of 4 giant vases is presented alongside an all-encompassing site-specific mural.

Reba Maybury uses her position as a political dominatrix as the starting point for her artistic practice, having her works executed by her submissives on her order. Her exhibition at O—Overgaden presents a painting series based on paint-by-numbers kits reproducing Edgar Degas’ infamous images of sex workers washing, here produced by her submissives.

Døren er lukket under koncerterne.Concerts with light design -Victor Hugo Diaz, Alejandro Sancho and Rune Skov Thomassen playing. The church is transformed to a Milonga- tango dance floor. Further more there will be intro/beginner classes so that everybody can participate.

I samarbejde med koret Lydmur og papirkunstner Veronica Hodges byder vi tre gange i løbet af aftenen på en unik oplevelse, hvor musik, ord og visuel kunst smelter sammen.

Den Gyldne Sky er både en kunstinstallation og fortælling. Gennem ord, lys og lyd inviteres du til at drømme med.

Hver koncert varer ca. 30 minutter og opføres kl. 18.00, 20.00 og 22.00. Koncerterne er gratis men kræver tilmelding på forhånd via link Enjoy an evening for the senses under the brilliant dome of Christiansborg Palace Chapel with music and the installation Golden Cloud.

In collaboration with the Lydmur choir and paper artist Veronica Hodges, we stage three performances with a unique blend of music, words and visual art.

Golden Cloud is both art installation and storytelling. In words, light and sound, attendants are invited to dream along.

Each concert lasts about 30 minutes with performances at 18.00, 20.00 and 22.00. Attendance is free, but you need to register in advance via link.

ALLE KONCERTER ER FULDT BOOKET: Koncerten varer ca. 30 minutter og opføres kl. 18.30, 20.30 og 22.30. Koncerterne er gratis med Kulturpas, men kræver tilmelding via billetlink. On Copenhagen Culture Night, Hannah Schneider performs En tråd vævet ind i tiden (A thread woven into time) in the Great Hall at Christiansborg. Based on artist Bjørn Nørgaard’s tapestries, Schneider’s work of sound art weaves past, present and future into a beautiful story featuring poetry by Sapfo, Inger Christensen and Peter Clement-Woetmann. Sharing the stage are singer GOSS, string trio Toechter and vocal ensemble VIGDIS. Lighting design by the artist collective Vertigo.

ALL CONCERTS ARE FULLY BOOKED: The concert lasts 30 minutes and is performed at 18.30, 20.30 and 22.30. Attendance is free with a Culture Pass, but you need to register in advance via ticket link.
